Our client is a well-established IFA practice who provide a holistic financial planning service to their HNW client bank. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Administrator/Paraplanner to join their busy office in Stevenage and provide the highest level of support to the Financial Services Sales Team. Reporting to the Practice Manager, the role holder will have the responsibility of acting as the technical interface between the consultants and the clients and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation of suitability letters, report writing (including preparation of spreadsheets), research and recommendations with full audit trail and other general administration duties (i.e. collating information, preparing spreadsheets, updating clients and policies details onto various systems).
The ideal Business Assistant/Paraplanner to be considered for this position, applicants must have previous experience in a similar role within an IFA or Wealth Management environment. A minimum qualification of FPC/CFP/CEFA (or equivalent) is required, with the expectation of further study towards attaining Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
